Coaching and Mentoring

Systemic diversity and inclusion mentorship and coaching embodies first diagnostic/situation analysis which involves collaborating and cooperating with our clients though data relating to their strength, weakness, opportunities and threats (SWOT) which we employ to formulate policy that ultimately focus on achieving their stated goals. For instance, we recently worked with police Chiefs who employed SWOT as a guide for their work. One of the Chiefs shared our approach and alignment to their operation with emphasis on their new relationship with the community they serve based on the SWOT. The SWOT and the antidote were vital in providing us the lens through which we understood them in context of SWOT as well as the SWOT of the community they serve; and subsequently, we were able to help set goals, strategies and implementation strategies that led the police department to develop a better relationship with the community they serve, a relationship based on mutual respect and trust. The model approach to meaningful relationship resulted in the creation of Cohort of leaders from the community as well as those from Police Department.

General Statement for our new year Programs

The SDIG is founded on the belief that all people are created equal, a view that aligns with the United States founders ‘words: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all (men for SDIG-all people are created equal; “that their Creator endows them with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…” SDIG’s position aligns nicely with the quotation “all men are created equal,” which is part of the U.S. Declaration of Independence that Thomas Jefferson penned in 1776.

In that context, SDIG has committed to fighting and eradicating any perceived or real inequity in our global community. To that end, as the founder of SDIG, Dr. Joseph Nwoye, reminds us, “our mission has to focus on bringing people of various cultures, races, genders, etc. together, and challenge them to accept their various misconceptions of others who are not like them.

To that end, SDIG contends that we must strive to bring our divided communities, in the contexts of the poor and rich, the blacks and the whites, and deliberately fight relentlessly to eradicate these misconceptions. SDIG’s position aligns with the quotation the founder, Dr. Joseph Nwoye, “all men are created equal.”
It is in that spirit that SDIG is unveiling a number of programs to be launched in 2021 to foster our quest for peace, equity and social justice for all. The new programs will include among others.
